Maybe a whole lot of something right.

This lapsed Catholic is pleased and impressed. I think I’m gonna like this Pope. We’ve had some pretty good ones.

Not perfect and not terribly conscious of women’s issues. The Church as a whole has a long way to go on that and other scores. But I’ll cut him some slack.

Just heard part of an interview's with Pope Leo’s older brother. Good-natured and candid. You can tell he’s proud and treasures the long family history they’ve shared. And so congenial annd normal, even while maybe just a wee bit overwhelmed by it all. He’s my stupid little brother!” “He’s a guy.”
