I agree that a shut down could work against the fascists if the timing and duration are at the will of the people. The point is to bring them to the negotiating table. But, first, we must promote division within their ranks. America didn't win our revolution based upon military superiority, although we had some brilliant military strategists. What the colonists had was audacity, flexibility in leveraging their strengths, and an economic boycott of British goods that fostered division between the British merchants and aristocracy. Eventually, Britain decided we were too much of an expense, an incorrigible nuisance, and it would be to their advantage to convert us into partners in trade. The policies of the current administration are erratic and anti-commerce. The entire focus is to benefit only the very few. There exists, however, a tier of wealthy people who are not among those privileged few and those are the people we would want to target. They need to realize that they are not included in the theft of America's wealth to line the pockets of a select group. They are not now, nor will they ever be, permitted membership in that club. They are of no more consequence to this administration as the poorest among us. That's the level we want to peel off.
