Every fucking day is a struggle. But we never gave up believing things could be better and many died to make it so. I worry that my son will be killed by a cop . We carry our papers and we know at anytime our rights can be taken from us. The dominant culture would very much like to subjugate us but we keep fighting, we have no other choice. Black folks aren’t courageous because they want to be, they are courageous because they have to be. I wish you peace.
