As part of its mission, ERO manages programs and initiatives to identify, investigate, arrest, prosecute and remove aliens unlawfully present in the United States and ensure the country’s immigration enforcement process.

Interesting that there is no mention of being a criminal, in this mission statement. Other than being here without proper immigration processes.

They are going for low hanging fruit. People here who entered "illegally " but who are doing everything else legally. For instance going through the proper immigration process.
