The point being made is correct (The majority of wealth in the world is controlled by too few people), but the specifics given are not just false, but outrageously so. If you don't present true facts, then you can't expect people to take you seriously when you try to explain why income or wealth inequality is a serious problem.

The 10 richest people in the world currently have total combined wealth of about 2 Trillion. The Total wealth in the world is around 450 Trillion. So the 10 richest people in the world control less than 0.5% of all wealth, showing that the idea that a dozen people control 90% of all wealth is a ridiculous assertion.
