That the last number I saw said there were something like 1100 people that have one million dollars or more. Which certainly sounds to me as if they have embraced the concept of unfettered, capitalistic greed.
According to that meme I often post, These people make up around five percent of the population.
Yet, they make up 57% of Congress. That was before the orange gibbon was reelected. The number may have risen for all I know.
We are ruled by five percent of the country. That five percent will always choose money over people. It is why they are in the five percent to begin with.
We need to stop acting like losing some billionaires and their industries is going to destroy the cosmos, when there will be five other groups ready to take their place as soon as they can take over the facilities. We need to stop letting them scare us as to how essential their presence is to this nation.
They want to leave because we tax them progressively? Fine, get out. Understand that this falls under the concept of 'desertion' as far as we are concerned. Meaning, they will be seen as non-nationals from that time forward.
They want to threaten the people with retaliatory pricing because unions are starting to spread and they want to say that now things cost more? Tell them that they can either leave or stop gouging the public over their loss of deity. Same application as above.
I would close with 'eat the rich', but I don't want that greasy, slimy shite in my gob. Just toss them on a bonfire, Tattooine-style.
I am sick of greed. I am even more sick of those who practice and defend it.
