I've long known the Republican working class is voting against their own self interests. But now it's the top 1%. They've been doing great. All time record profits. But they have to mess with it because they want all the money in the world in their pockets. They don't understand that an affluent population makes them money. They think if they make us poor, they'll have more, and it doesn't work that way. Who ever said that rich people are smart? They are mentally ill. Caught in an addiction cycle over power and money.

And, they aren't even getting power. Gradually they'll realized only Trump and Elon and Putin have power. Everyone else has to do what they say. Or else. Including SCOTUS, who used to be powerful, but won't be. Giving up their power for what?

They think they are winning but can you imagine what it's really like to have no compassion, no love for humanity? They can't even conceive of real happiness. I have to believe that love will prevail, the leading message in Harry Potter, in the Bible, in any study of consciousness. I just don't see the mechanism by which it will happen, how long it will take, what we'll have to go through to get there.
