The Bishop put him on notice that he has to change his mind and actions because they are evil and cruel. The one thing people want to see is justice and accountability for all of the cruelty and wrong that he has done.
When she pointed out that He attributed the providential mercy of God for his being here, she gave notice that the same God is giving him a directive to change. We know he will not, however, there is a possibility that he might, we will see before his presidency is over, either the change for good or his demise. You can't call on God or invoke God for His mercy and goodness and not expect Him to require something from you.
