5. It's genuinely hard to understand this level of greed.

All most people want is basic comfort and the security of having some savings. Most people I know would be so happy with a couple of million drawing reasonable interest in a few funds and some AAA bonds.

People like Mike Bloomberg, Bill Gates and MacKenzie Scott I do understand and admire. They give most of their wealth away and care deeply about the planet and the fate of our species. (I'm watching them closely to see if any of them cave. I know Elon Musk wants to "investigate" MacKenzie Scott--the best known female philanthropist. Funny how he doesn't want to investigate Mike Bloomberg or any male philanthropists. Asshole!)
