21. I met Harry Truman

when I was a child. My sister and I had a dentist appointment and dad took us. The dentist said to my dad after we arrived would it be okay if President Truman went before us and of course he said yes. I believe the dentist had been in the military with President Truman in WWI. Even though my dad was a republican, he had great respect for President Truman.
