66. I don't think it was the most intelligent decision to push this during an election year

May have hurt Democrats with young voters and it seems many politicians supported it because TikTok doesn't censor pro Palestinian content as much as Facebook or US companies do.

If they were concerned about data harvesting or privacy they could try to pass legislation that applies to all of Big Tech not just 1 company.

Also Elon Musk owning X or Twitter seems to be a lot worse as far as propaganda goes than TikTok.
