9. I don't think he's trying to lose. His brain no longer works well, and he doesn't know have what it takes anymore.

He’s 78. He most likely doesn’t gave the stamina for long campaign days, especially since he is carrying quite a bit of extra weight. I’m younger, exercise every day, and no longer have the stamina I had just a couple of years ago.

Plus, one of the symptoms of Alzheimer’s can be paranoia. He may be convinced that his advisers are not advising him correctly so he is rejecting them. Listening to someone like Loomer who reinforces his lies and delusions also reinforces his belief that he is smarter than everyone else, a big plus for his narcissistic ego.

Perhaps he’s also confused because his lies about migrants, which worked in 2016, are not having the same impact. His cult will believe anything he says, but they are not large enough to elect him.

All speculation, of course, but he seems like a one-trick pony and the audience are tired of the trick.
