likes to go both ways This is just
another
day One of the most challenging aspects
of being in charge is having to make the
tough calls And no one knows that better
than Trump President Trump has also said
this morning that he's open to
increasing taxes on the rich in order to
help workers Well sort of Trump posted
on social media "Republicans should
probably not do it but I'm okay with if
they do." Or you can skirt
responsibility entirely in an attempt to
never be held accountable for anything I
mean what's the point of being president
if you're too scared to make any
decisions I doubt they'd call him the
boss if Bruce Springsteen punted on the
set list every night Hell even this guy
had the balls to call himself the
decider and most of his decisions sucked
But at least he owned them In Trump's
online ramblings he says he's in favor
of taxing the rich but then doubles back
saying that the Democrats will come
after his party the same way they went
after Bush Senior in the9s going back on
his promise of no new taxes which many
people think cost him the election Even
though Trump says Perau's alluring Texas
twang's presence is what really did Bush
in So again Republicans should probably
not do it but I'm okay if they do Is the
most chicken move on the planet
Trump is giving his congressional
lackeyis the green light to oppose any
tax increases on the rich while trying
to keep up the charade that he's some
man of the people And when it comes to
this buy Trump finds himself in he only
has one person to blame And part of it's
a a math situation which is the
president has made these promises and
pledges around tips and and things of
that sort And it's almost impossible uh
to put things like that through unless
you raise taxes on the wealthy And so
he's sort of up against it there Yeah
Turns out making promises on the
campaign trail with no actual
implementation strategy can end up
biting you in the ass But this blame
dodging maneuver is nothing new for
Trump Here he is earlier this week
getting asked if there was any wiggle
room in regards to his 145% tariff on
China China says in order to have
substantive negotiations you have to
bring down your 145% tariffs Are you
open to pulling back your tariffs in
order to get China to the negotiating
table No Simple as that one word This
man does not waver Now will anybody be
surprised if the next clip I play
completely undercuts that No didn't
think so Today via True Social he said
that he'd be possibly open to lowering
those to 80% Why the change And how did
the president land on 80 The president
still remains uh with his position that
he is not going to unilaterally bring
down tariffs on China We need to see
concessions from them as well As for the
80% number that was a number the
president threw out there and we'll see
what happens this weekend and always in
the effort of transparency In other
words Trump dropped his completely
immovable tariff down by
65% I guess he looks at tariffs the same
way Matt Gates looks at ages Not too
worried about the numbers Trump's entire
life has been about having it both ways
and he's not even shy about it When does
it become the Trump economy Uh it
partially is right now and I really mean
this I think the good parts of the Trump
economy and the bad parts of the Biden
economy because he's done a terrible job
He did a terrible job on everything He
wants it both ways He wants to be a man
of the people while living in a golden
castle in the sky He'll dismiss any
questions about his attempt to run for a
third term while at the same time
selling merch on his own website
promoting his subversion of the
Constitution He says he's got a
beautiful family while at the same
time Trump always wants it both ways

president has done They think maybe
George Washington has done I contribute
my entire salary to the government back
to the government But on the other hand
the only reason he's so graciously
parting ways with that half a million
dollar salary is because he's earning
billions by unabashedly profiting off
the presidency But don't you dare point
that out I think it's frankly ridiculous
that anyone in this room would even
suggest that President Trump is doing
anything for his own benefit Uh he left
a life of luxury and a life of running a
very successful real estate empire for
public service This is a president who
has actually lost money for being
president of the United States Yeah come
on guys This president is so poor every
one of his policies has holes in them

he'll even do it in the same exact
meeting I just We're going to be friends
with Canada regardless of anything We're
going to be friends with Canada Canada

the guy who claims to have zero

2025 but then miraculously follows it to
a tea the moment he's sworn into office
He says he adors the Supreme Court
justices that he appointed but then
dismisses their rulings when they don't
align with his political ideology I mean
is it any shock that the guy who told
Republicans they probably shouldn't
raise taxes but it's okay if they do

right boys stand back and stand by stand
back and stand by a statement that
resides at the very peak of mount both
ways Trump wants to claim that he's some
decisive leader when the fact of the
matter is his entire life has been
defined by contradictory statements that
make him look feckless and weak It is
profoundly easy to claim win after win
for your country when you're constantly
changing the rules of the game as you
play But operating from a place of fear
and lashing out at your denters doesn't
make you tough It makes you a dick and a
