1. I'm not sure I've ever seen Tim Miller that emotional... I can only hope that these ads translate to a lot of men

as well as to the women viewing them. Hadley is really remarkable though, I agree.

5. You think just dropping this with no explanation is appropriate? We don't like when our opponents do that...

He is a former Republican strategist. I get it. But your level of venom toward him must surely be more than that?

3. Anti abortion BUT.... is just hypocritical BS. If you think all other girl/women should not

be allowed choice, but if raped or incest or health is an exception, you are a hypocrite. Murder is murder be it a rape or mama's health and if it is wrong to murder for the young girl that chose sex or mom that has four and cannot afford or care for another child then it is wrong with rape. That simple. Otherwise this man is simply punishing women for sex.

6. The majority on DU are with you 100%, but that ad is not geared toward us--nor are Miller's comments.

The ad was targeted to traditionally so-called (yeah, it annoys me too) "pro-life" independents and Republicans who are willing to turn away from a former Trump vote but need the nudge to accept the Harris-Walz and Democratic Party views on abortion. This is meant to directly address that because most of them will find some ability to relate to this young woman--even while they may not to some other abortion scenarios. His comments echo that. The goal is to gain votes from those leaning in our direction, not to necessarily convince its audience to accept our views 100%.

7. Your conversation has nothing to do what I said. I hope everyone on here agree

what what I say. I would say about 90% (random number) of what we discuss is not directed to us or that we already agree with. And still, I said what I said.

The former came across as incredibly accusatory toward ME for no reason. I asked for an explanation. You provided none, so I tried to consider what you might have intended by the post.

10. Sad to say

this is the FIRST TIME i have seen pettiness in this forum.

This forum has been blessedly clear from attacks or mean-spirited debate UP TO NOW.

I saw a perfectly reasonable comment, then a knee-jerk angry response. PLEASE DON'T DO THAT.
