First thing I'd do if I had the funding to do a study is separate the ballots into Republican and Democratic piles, then see if the number of mistakes is in any way correlated to the side they vote for. It would be hilarious to me if it were discovered that more Republicans screw up the paperwork than Democrats. The GOP is celebrating because they think more Dems than GOPpers will be disqualified. Sure, that seems logical if the disqualifications are entirely random, but not if they aren't.
