(26,126 posts)3. Very good speech. My oldest granddaughter is getting out
of an abusive marriage so I have seen first hand the horrid damage an abuser can cause. Unfortunately, she is not willing to have him prosecuted even though she has witnesses to his physical abuse. I know it would be very hard for her to testify about such a situation, but other women need to be protected from him. We are getting counseling for her to help her put this behind her and start a new life.

I have never understood why men need to dominate their partners like that.

So many women don't and feel stuck.
