Some discussion from the OP would be helpful .. just a flaming attention getter line is not adequate. .

This is a discussion board after all

Seems like sometimes looking a post headlines here makes me think I am in line at the grocery store check out.

They are trying their best to get information out to counter the misinformation from the other side.
I support them even if the titles are clickbait.

I have always enjoyed DU discussion....not discussing ones OP is essentially lazy.

I just won't click on 20 minute videos to watch and there be no defined , organized topic identified ....waste of my time and energy...drives me crazy.... leave a bad taste in my thinking.

Then, there is no posters responding to discussion either...

I use YouTube all the time...I leave my thumbs up there...but really....asking me to give them support blindly is like Starbucks drive thru window person wanting A TIP just to hand me my coffee....... NOPE...

That headline - "trump CAUGHT Posting Group from Huge DOJ SCANDAL?!" is gibberish.

Why promote the revenue scam of some social media "influencer" or whatever they are? If you watched the video and if there is something of interest or value to the video, just tell us what that is. Then we can make an intelligent decision about whether or not we want to sit through the video.

There is a small army of people grifting off on the national emergency. "Look what Trump did now!!!!" They are making money off on this and they are giving Trump attention. It is all extremely destructive.

You may be right, but I have clicked on probably a hundred videos since I joined and there has been very little value there. One new member posted over 2000 videos in just 90 days. I think that is displacing serious discussion and it is crippling our ability to counter the other side. Social media seems tailor made to advance right wing crap, and in addition the platforms are set up to feed you that which you "like" so it is all a matter of preaching to the converted, so to speak. Many of the posts ad videos give credence to MAGA and Trump merely by suggesting that their crap is worthy of a serious response. It also contributes to the 24/7 all Trump all the time media environment. "For" or "against" him, it is all about him.

Using social media is supporting Muck, Zuckerberg, Theil, et al more than it is supporting the "content creators."

Social media use is an addiction and users defend it the same way that substance abusers defend their behavior. The platforms are carefully designed to be addictive.

I don't bother with them. I think this one is called "Luke Beaslye" or something. Self-serving.

He has close to 900k subscribers. He isnt a small fish in the social media pond.

But you are free to ignore the youtube community. Others follow it.

6. Maybe Luke is good. I guess I don't visit since the poster doesn't bother with any context.

A couple of times I did view his videos it seems that there was a lot of personal fluff between a few actual clips.

He interviews magats and gets them to speak the stupid. Hes almost been assaulted doing it.

But his messages are good for people to hear. There are people who exclusively use social media and never watch tv.

Click-bait headline isn't adding info. We need a little idea of the info discussed to decide whether to view.
