Trump Is Losing Control -- And It's Showing Everywhere - Decoding The Rhetoric

This week exposed three hard truths about Trump’s administration.

First, the White House was caught posting a digitally altered image of a civil rights attorney to make her appear distraught during an arrest that video evidence later proved was calm and composed. When confronted, officials admitted the image was fake and dismissed it as a “meme.”

Second, Trump insulted NATO allies who died fighting alongside U.S. forces in Afghanistan, falsely claiming they “stayed back” from the front lines. World leaders, veterans, and even Trump’s allies condemned the remarks and demanded an apology that never came.

Third, while the administration escalated propaganda and intimidation, the public response exploded. In Minnesota, more than 700 businesses shut down and tens of thousands of people marched in subzero temperatures in what organizers called the largest general strike the state has seen in nearly a century.

Taken together, these stories show an administration relying on deception and cruelty, and a growing resistance refusing to accept it. - 01/26/2026.
