I have Liz Cheney's book and she tells about January 6th and the impeachment vote in the House. She said if the voting was anonymous, the yes votes would have been overwhelming, but too many House Republicans were just too afraid of the threats that they and their families would receive. One excuse was "he'll be gone soon..." So much for that.

Do they know something we don’t? Or are they just stalling for (more) time?

How he managed to come back to serve a second term after that boggles the mind. And we know now that he's still desperate prove that he actually "won" in 2020.

I sure didn't have invading Iran on my bingo card - I still remember the hostage crisis and their war with Iraq - which they would have easily won without Reagan's aid to Iraq. They've 3 1/2 times larger and more populous with guys willing to meet their deaths and be transported to their heavenly life. That's what we learned at the time.

This is a deliberate strategy to neuter the judicial branch established in our constitution through intimidation and violence.
