Netanyahu had nothing but praise for TFG, saying he was the best friend that Israel ever had, no matter that President Biden worked hard for a cease fire and it hurt him at the polls. However, it was in Netanyahu's best interest to keep that war going to stay in office - He remained in office as long as there was fighting, but he's incredibly unpopular and if they achieved peace he'd likely be replaced. How many lives were lost in the meantime?
