We assumed our country was secure, and democracy and American values would always exist.

We should have realized the logical conclusion to the GOP hatred and violence.
And that they would do anything for power and wealth.
Including selling us all out.

And he just made a speech suggesting purging those from other countries, relocating the Palestinians from Gaza. And they've been in their homeland a lot longer than we have.

Since the job of an American president is to work for the people, to make their lives better. TFG ran for the power that the job would give him - and the money that he could make for himself. For TFG, it's always about money and power - for himself.
