Ethel Rosenberg's family pushes Biden to exonerate her decades after her execution - PBS NewsHour

In 1953, Ethel and Julius Rosenberg were executed after being convicted as Soviet spies in a sensational Cold War espionage case. Now, a recently declassified document is seen as the strongest evidence yet of Ethel’s innocence. As Biden leaves office, he’s being asked to exonerate her and right a historic wrong. John Yang speaks with the Rosenbergs’ younger son, Robert Meeropol, for more. - Aired on 01/18/2025.

Biden SHOULD clear her. She had young sons who, after her execution were subject to a horrendous political fight to prevent their foster/adoptive parents from having custody. They have fought for all the decades since her death to prove that their uncle set her up to protect himself--as he was in league with their father's activity. She was not (at least not knowingly).

None of this is "funny." At all. It was a tragedy.
