I saw Al Franken in person when he came to my area (Albany, NY) a couple of years ago as part of his National Tour Tour. He spoke for over two hours to a sold out crowd, did impressions (Mitch McConnell), told jokes (Ted Cruz) and did one of his freehand sketches of the states, offered to sign it and donate it to a local Democratic charity. Of course the audience called for him to run again before giving him a standing ovation at the end.
