1. The retired groups are not finalized

We're going to be going over all of them before DU4 launches to figure out which ones to keep and which ones to retire, and we'll be discussing this with the membership. So at the moment, there's nothing in the Retired list that is *definitely* going to remain there by launch time.

One of the questions I want to discuss will be, can we consolidate some of our underused forums in order to create larger communities that are a little less niche?

The purpose is not to hide away the topics which are discussed in niche forums -- in fact it's the opposite. If we retire some of the niche forums and fold them into fewer forums which have a broader scope, then hopefully those forums will be busier, and topics which would have disappeared if they were posted in a very niche forum will instead get more visibility.
