I would like to hide the sidebar.

1. Not at the moment

But I don't think it would be too difficult to include as an option. If you removed the sidebar what would you want to happen -- the right side of the screen just filling the space and taking up the whole width?

2. The side bar goes away when I enlarge text ( ctrl+ ) once beyond my normal setting...

... and presumably shift into mobile device mode.

That's okay for now.

3. If it minimized to a "Hamburger" icon, that would be pretty standard and intuitive

Sometimes I have 2 windows side-by-side on a monitor, and this would help a lot.
