Time for Biden to start doing weekly pressers.

Biden should start doing weekly press conferences in an auditorium with a flag backdrop.

He could use it as an example of how a real president handles the press.

He could request the White House Press Corps to manage the reporters in the same way they used to do the press in the White house before the current corrupt administration took power.

I suggest he start each session with a recap of the weeks events and highlight those points he thinks need most attention.

He should stand (and not sit like Gov. Cuomo does). His press person should stand to the side and, when a question arises to which Biden needs to respond later, he should turn to his aide and direct him/her to make a note of it. At the end of the allotted time, he should take the list from the press aide and summarize the points he said he would address later.

At the next press conference, Biden should restate and then address the issues from the previous press conference before turning to more recent events.

He should come out on time and leave at the scheduled end time.

++++

There is no need for him not to be in the public eye more, especially if he did so with trappings of a President. Social distancing can be enforce and he could speak behind a plexiglass barrier if he does not want to wear a mask under those conditions. It would set an example if he came out from offstage wearing a mask and positioned himself behind the barrier before removing the mask and starting to speak. At the end, he could replace his mask and leave the stage.

I would have the reporters line up at a stationary microphone (6 ft spacing) to ask questions.

No matter how good these pressers would go, I think people would get tired of seeing Biden everyday just like everyone is getting tired of seeing crazy Trump everyday. It probably would generate a fair amount of anticipation if the presser was held once a week, especially at the beginning of the week because then Trump would have to spend the rest of the week responding to Biden. He should not do it at the end of the week when people are not paying attention and would forget about it over the weekend.

Besides, I think Biden has other work to do to prepare for the election. Like choose an outstanding VP candidate as his running mate.

Trump, on the other hand, never does any work. He just tweets, throws tantrums, and golfs. Spends his time trying stay in the news, no matter how wacko the things he does are.

Biden could focus each press conference on a topic such as having world-renowned epidemiologists explain how disease spreads.

I would try to incorporate at least one segment in the introduction that could be clipped and used for weekly TV and internet ads.

Also, he could do the pressers in Delaware, which is close enough to Washington, DC to attract the DC press up there once a week.
