We do have a Sanders Problem because of the Steinist Hires..

There is no getting around this. Sen Sanders and Jane also hired and rehired some of the Putin based Greens. These people are part of his campaign staff as well as supporters. They are still attacking VP Biden with the Russian Trolls memes.. These are not conservationists which used to define the Green party. Not anymore. Stein gave it over to Putin to attack the Democratic Party and the American voting system.

We are expected to reach out to Bernies supporters and I am all for that. Many of us are part of the same party. But there is a whole section (and it is not a tiny part of the Sanders campaign) .. All they want to do is destroy the Democratic Party. This is their second full throat-ed attempt to bring down our party.

The hell with that. I will not reach out to these trolls.. I do not want them within 100 miles of my party. Go get your money from Vlad and start your own crazy party.

To the Sanders supporters who saw Elizabeth Warren as someone you could support.. lets join hands and send Trump packing. To Vlads Trolls.. don't let the door hit you on the ass...

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

She is a Jill Stein voter and supporter. Bernie chose her as a slap in the face to the Democrats... and she's using every possible opportunity to do exactly that. This isn't happening in a vacuum. It's not happening organically. This was intentional. It was an intentional selection of people who hated Democrats or who were hostile to the Democratic party. It is a cesspool. People like Gray and her ilk are cancers... they are metastasizing.

For many, all they want is attention and to divide. At this point, if they can't get on board, they're not worth the time.

For the rest of us, it's time to work toward electing Joe Biden and his VP in November, as well as promoting and supporting Democrats at all levels of government, especially in state legislatures.

What would be helpful would be for well-meaning supporters of Sen. Sanders to make clear the partisans of that faction of 'Bernie' adherents which seems unwilling to support the Democratic nominee are flat wrong, and to seek by their own actions to demonstrate how wrong they are. Rather than to claim that when this faction of 'Bernie' devotees are attacked for what they are, nihilist wreckers whose actions assist the cheap thug Trump, it is they themselves who are being attacked. It is rather like a main-line Protestant minister complaining that when the likes of Falwell Jr. or Rick Wiles is attacked for their pernicious statements and actions, it is Christianity, and all Christians, who are being attacked. If someone is not busy claiming Mr. Biden is a senile racist rapist who killed millions in Iraq, whom he or she could under no circumstances vote for, no one is attacking you. I certainly am not, and would not. You would probably find I agreed with you on many points of policy, and certainly on most goals to be sought.

We have Putin funding the destruction of the US government from 2 sides.. Trump and Steiners.. and they have used Sanders and I don't think they care a whit about him.

Most of Bernies supporters could have be Elizabeth's supporters.. You know where the split is when they went after her full tilt. It was never about policy.. it was about bringing down our party. The oldest political party in the United States..

Too many are willing to deny that, and keep it in countenance by claiming when these elements are exposed, they are themselves the object of attack.

They might not comply-- a couple seem to hate Biden and Democrats more than they love Bernie even-- but at least it will be clear that Sanders isn't in tacit support of their pro-Trumpism. (Yes, at this point, their actions would be pro-Trump.)

Some political and government figures seem to think (and their fans accept) that just saying they're for something is the equivalent of getting it done.

There's definitely a place for "aspiration" and "pushing the line" in that it can recenter the conversation ($15 minimum wage is now considered a goal for many Dems).

But a goal or aspiration isn't a happening.

And with Trump, he says things he never even plans to have happen or are categorically not happening, "more tests than anywhere else in the world!"

His chaotic bs pronouncements are lies. And actual aspirations and goals are not lies... but we need to return to the immediate recognition that they also aren't the truth, or even a plan.

They've been spreading lies and nonsense for more than a month...
- Bernie only lost because of the DNC
- Biden is basically a republican
- Democrats only support Biden out of fear
- "Boomers" need Bernie Sanders because only his universal healthcare plan can save them from Covid-19.
Etc.
Etc.

A lot of it is character assassination targeted at the rank and file Democrats who weren't into Bernie's message and didn't see him as a suitable leader, and a lot of it is aimed at "boomers". I posted something in support of the fairness of the primary process yesterday, and one of them called me a "bootlicker", implied that I am a coward and called me a "boomer" (I'm a millennial fwiw). Its hard to know how much of this is an organic outgrowth of the present culture, and how much could be Russian resentment propaganda. It seems like the next divide and conquer strategy could be a play on inter-generational resentments designed to keep younger Democrats and progressives at home.

I'm hoping Bernie himself will take a look at what is going on and do his part to prevent a second Trump term. The fact that he was willing to drop out this early is a good sign at very least. The shit that comes out of some of his supporters mouths is not so encouraging.
