I'm glad Milwaukee didn't have our weather, it was thunderstorming like a son of a gun all morning. It's likely most of the voters came in the afternoon when there were patches of blue in the sky.

We had a choice of someone coming outside, but I went into the building. They sprayed my hands with something, and gave me a new gel-pen to mark the ballot with - no pencil-passing allowed.

My mask was on before I opened the door, and the 3 Ladies inside were all wearing masks, too - as well as sitting behind a plexiglass barrier.

We only have 2 booths (sparsely populated township) and immediately after I voted, the booth was sprayed with the same stuff she put on my hands.

The whole process was very nicely done!

Sure wish the voters in Milwaukee had been treated 1/10 as nicely, damned repugs.

One thing that keeps giving me hope is the way we stormed in and took the House back. If the repugs had things locked up ahead of time (like they want us to think they do), we never would have been able to do it.

Mr. Biden had no influence at all on whether the primary was conducted.

The governor did his best and was balked by the legislature and the courts. A Federal judge did his best under constraints of law to reduce the risks posed by the primary, and was overruled by Republican shit-heels packed onto the Supreme Court by McConnell and the cheap thug Trump.

Do you expect Mr. Biden to have called for Democrats to absent themselves from the polls, thus ensuring Republican victory in various special elections and measures voted on simultaneously with the party primaries?

This is the kind of senseless, content free drivel people have come to expect from those engaged in a campaign against not the cheap thug Trump, but against the 'Democratic Establishment'. It is at best naive, and at worst deliberate distortion aimed at audience which is ignorant of the normal conduct of public affairs.

"From Bernie’s perspective, dropping out of a race once you have no chance of winning is peculiar behavior that can only be explained by the work of a hidden hand. For most politicians, though, it is actually standard operating procedure. Only Sanders seems to think the normal thing to do once voters have made clear they don’t want to nominate you is to continue campaigning anyway."

Certainly the capacity of a person to actually affect a thing ought to be taken into account. Not to do so renders any charge frivolous at best.

50. To be clear:

It was never claimed that Biden bears any direct responsibility/blame for yesterday's public health debacle (which may prove to have undone weeks of my state's "Safer at Home" efforts)--only that his insistence that in-person voting could be conducted safely during a pandemic was disturbingly and dangerously disingenuous. I can only hope that your (and now all DU's) candidate doesn’t believe that further repeating of WI-GOP talking points is the way to win Wisconsin in November.
