Jacobin is already hedging their bets that Sanders will lose today...

....and claiming the primary results are illegitimate.

No Election That Endangers Voters Is Legitimate

BY KATIE HALPER

https://jacobinmag.com/2020/04/wisconsin-election-coronavirus-joe-biden

That's all I'm going to post, go to the link if you want to read more. And they're trying put the blame for having to vote today on Biden! What a toxic publication, and of course Katie Halper doesn't disclose that she's a de facto Sanders surrogate.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

It will be a trial balloon for November when Trump loses. He will claim that the election was illegitimate, that there was voter fraud, etc etc etc. Then he will appeal it to SCOTUS - we shall see what happens then.

if it is held when a pandemic is going on. Also, the 1864 Presidential election happened in the midst of the American Civil War. So, fear of death has not invalided any election that I know of. Katie Halper is as wrong about this as she is about everything else, including her neverending support for Bernie Sanders.

....about a week ago and blew it way out of proportion.

He was asked how they could conduct the primary today. Biden was musing (paraphrasing, not an exact quote) "well, they can vote in person if they maintain distances between the voters and wipe down the machines, but the best way would be absentee/mail-in voting"

That became merely "they can vote in person". Period!

They did that with is comments on Social Security years ago (he had the SAME position as Sanders, BTW) and other issues.

Tue Apr 7, 2020, 07:18 PM
Apr 2020

From his Live Now thingy.

The socialists turn that into Biden wants to kill people. Because same day registration is a form of voting ergo Biden wants everyone to line up at the polls on election day, get sick, and die. It's obvious he wants people to vote by mail but also allow same day registration for those who aren't registered and wish to vote. LOL What a bunch of sad lying losers.

And the 'scrubbing down' quote was when he was discussing the difference between holding a convention and people going to the polls. As in convention 'no way' but going to the polls 'maybe' if done this way. Like with the aforementioned SS, anything brought up in a discussion is that person's firmly held belief.

That includes everything conservatives do. If we weren't like them we'd stop them, and since we don't that proves there's no difference. Circular logic of twisted minds about as capable of rational and responsible decisions as the worst trumpsters -- with whom most have a great deal in common.

I really doubt that those who slid down the Sanders rabbit hole will be coming back. There'll always be opportunistic pretzel-twisters who have their number. Literally and figuratively.

....since early January. And that was for a mere three or four days. Before that, his last day in Washington was June 28! He was AWOL for more than six months, missing more than 240 consecutive votes.

"Sanders works from Washington"? Perhaps, but only when he works, which hasn't been too often over the last nine months.

On the other hand Biden has been working with top GOVERNMENT advisers, not political advisers, every day for months. And if he's needed for any reason in Washington, he's less than two hours away by car!
