BS campaign looking for organizers in NY.

As per an email from the BS campaign seeking organizers and volunteers for virtual phone banks from today (April 2) through June 23.

We are in the middle of a crisis here in New York and around the country.

Right now we have people all over the state who are being laid off, whose hours are being reduced, and who cannot afford the health care they need if they get sick. Not to mention the steady rise in positive coronavirus cases every day.

snip==============================================================

Thousands of New Yorkers are coming together to organize around this historic pandemic by making sure the most vulnerable in our communities have what they need.

We're standing in solidarity with workers and we're fighting to fundamentally transform the systems that left so many people in New York and all over the country so unsafe.

snip===============================================================

So if there was ever a time for millions of people to come together, now is that moment. And no other campaign is in a better position to bring people together than ours.

If Bernie is the person you want leading this country, join us to make phone calls to New Yorkers about Bernie. It's really important

snip=================================================================

This is a once in a lifetime campaign. That's why we're fighting hard to strengthen our position to win.

The stakes are high. And with you in it with us, we can put our campaign on a path to victory.

Yes, we know the stakes are high. We knew it as well during the general election season of 2016.

It's really a shame that so many others didn't and still don't.

Here's a baker's dozen of virtual donuts to pass around at the virtual phone bank.

and will most likely be so for the next several weeks.

The volunteer form includes three shifts per day as we await the peak and three shifts for the period when we expect the peak.

The email is stunning in its utter lack of sensitivity and tone deafness.

"strengthen our position to win"

"And with you in it with us, we can put our campaign on a path to victory"

I'm not sure how giving his supporters false hope is supposed to help anything.

"And no other campaign is in a better position to bring people together than ours. "

That's been proven without a doubt to be a false statement.

We allowed him to do this, we must stop it from going any further. The country is in crisis, if he truly cares about the country more than himself he will drop out, back the nominee of our party and be quiet.

Bernie is disqualified from the presidency by virtue of the fact that he is endangering the populace of several states by forcing the primary process to continue despite the fact he has no longer got a path to the nomination. When states like mine, NY, and other are struggling with the virus... to force the state to spend money and effort on an election that will endanger the voters is manifestly, un-presidential and he is absolutely DISQUALIFIED for failing the leadership test.
Just MHO.
(Full disclosure, I voted for Bernie in 2016 and am utterly done with him.)

He is proving in 2020 that our worst thoughts about him in 2016 was spot on. He a selfish self centered out of touch b*stard. He should be treated with the disdain he deserves. I've come to hate the guy. I'm sure my comment will be flagged for speaking ill of Bernie but he's no Democrat so I feel free to do so.

Keep the money coming in as long as possible. Then when he finally does drop out the war chest will be distributed some way and you can be some will go to family businesses and top staffers. They'll figure a way to skirt campaign financing laws.

1. Making sure the most vulnerable...

Thousands of New Yorkers are coming together to organize around this historic pandemic by making sure the most vulnerable in our communities have what they need.

counterclaim: Hospitals are unable to accept emergency patients as has been done. Some are left in ambulances. (sorry for no link. Something I saw earlier today.)

2. "Once in a lifetime campaign"

This is a once in a lifetime campaign.

counterclaim: Bernie, how do u think I feel about 2016. 2004, 2000.

Fixed: The last chance of your political life ended with endorsements to Joe Biden by many including Amy Klobuchar, Beto O'Rourke and Pete Buttegieg.

3. we're fighting hard to strengthen our position to win.

counter claim: 25 % true at best. "Fighting hard" about what exactly.

"Strengthen" -- every post by Bernie and surrogates weakens them.

"To win." We all know you have no path to delegate victory.

4. In conclusion: Bernie has no math. Bernie doesn't want to talk about the math. Bernie is an old codger and has been for too long.

5. Piling on. Bernie, where are your medical evaluations.

6. Bernie, your staffers are worse than suck. I don't believe that they trust in democracy and also getting rid of Trump.

On the one hand, he has pushed for delays in the primaries due to COVID19. But, then he uses they delay to try campaign and organize in the hardest hit State?

This is classic BS.
