Maybe he is just proud to tell everyone after being out of the loop while doing his internet talk show from Vermont! Did you ever think of that?

I would single out for special praise in the Senate West Virginia's Sen. Manchin, who stuck to the Party throughout the negotiations and wrangles, which I confess I did not expect the man to do. He showed he has something in him, Mr. Manchin did.

"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."

10. I have a lot of respect for Sen. Manchin and none for Sen Sanders.

Senator Manchin is a known quantity and he upholds his constituencies feelings on most issues. While doing that, he comes through for the Democrats on extremely critical votes like upholding Obamacare.

Furthermore, he does his work quietly, without grandstanding and running after cameras and microphones for publicity. He also nover takes credit for other people's work.

11. Perhaps it is, but the details were hammered out by Schumer, Pelosi, Warren, and others....

A shame that Senator Sanders had no part in that - he was still in Vermont for some reason.

THEY deserve credit for the details of the bill, certainly not Sanders.
