I just want to personally thank all the Biden supporters here

for having a die-hard pulse on the Sanders campaign. Seriously I learn more here about Bernie's campaign, his advisers and any lil tidbit from random posters on twitter. It really is breathtaking the amount of time and effort you all put into this.

If I were to vote in a presidential

Jesus. We are a discussion site. I can’t imagine allowing posts to hurt my feelings or effect anything I do in the real life. I read posts. Agree with some. Disagree with others. Occasionally get insulted. But to give even a veiled threat that the way I’m treated here will have any affect on my decisions is astonishing to me.

Maybe you did not mean it that way. But that’s the way it read.

And no one called your candidate senile.

Even at the nadir of Biden’s campaign I did not read any of his supporters on DU or anywhere insinuating they would not vote for Bernie. I would have worked for and voted for him even though I can’t stand the guy. I not helping any republican, certainly not trump win again.

It is only the supporters of one campaign who regularly claim they will vote for no one but their candidate.

Anyone who will not vote for Biden because Bernie did win is not a progressive but a cult of personality member.

They sure opened my eyes by attacking my Senator Elizabeth Warren. You see I was for Warren until she dropped out. She was viciously attacked after confronting Sanders for calling her a liar on National TV. It was ugly.

and his supporters actually takes very little time at all. One simply needs to look at the twitter feeds of one of his four national co-chairs...

--San Juan, Puerto Rico Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz
--former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner (D)

my opposition to Senator Sanders or any imaginary desire to defend the pillars of capitalism than it did to a strong and heartfelt desire to not only see Donald Trump out of office and as many Republican senatorial and congressional candidates defeated as possible.

I’m sorry, but I did not see Senator Sanders as the man to do that job. In fact, I feared that he’d lose to Trump and that the US would be cursed with another four years of Donald Trump in the White House with damage reverberating for decades. In fact, I went into a depression after New Hampshire and the Iowa caucuses anticipating Trump’s re-election.

Despite this, I wasn’t willing to concede defeat. I sent money to the Biden campaign and started posting my polemics. It now appear that that wretch in the White House may have to clear out of his digs in January 2021.

To the Sanders folks reading this, I hope you’re willing to do what Bernie’s forebears did to fight fascism in the 1930’s and join the rest of us in forming a united front to fight Trump and racist oligarchical Republicans.

Seriously, I learn so quickly in how to placate my feelings with self-indulgent excess, and blame everyone but myself for any ill-will even as we both so create it in the here and now (the irony will go unnoticed thought... more's the pity)

It's truly eye opening how we can so easily dismiss our own past behavior and yet hold others to a standard we ourselves would never even attempt.
