I'm anticipate that he'll be reading something that was written FOR him, and handed to him at the last minute. It will be the first time he has seen it, no time to become familiar with it, no time to practice. It will be just a string of words on paper.

Or, the other possibility is that he'll try to wing-it. And in the process, he'll just fall back into a standard memorized stump speech with the same old tire talking points. He'll forget to endorse. He'll forget to seek unity. He'll forget to build bridges.

We know him too well. (I guess that's why everyone is tired of him and letting us know with their votes.)

Mar 2020

Had Sanders not made this second sally, he could have maintained that his views had considerable support among 'working class white men', as demonstrated by their votes in 2016. By going once too often to the well, Sanders has shown that in fact, his voting strength in 2016 among 'working class white men' owed not to support for his policies, and those men's openness if properly inspired to revolution change in a left direction, but rather to a long rightist reactionary campaign of hatred for Mrs. Clinton which he chanced along to be a beneficiary of, and of retrograde attitudes towards 'uppity women' in that demographic which this campaign fed on. Sanders might have had a legacy as a real contender for radical views. It would not have been an honest one, but it would have looked swell on video and in print.

29. AXIOS: Bernie Sanders suspends his 2020 campaign Facebook ads
Wed Mar 18, 2020, 11:01 AM
Mar 2020
Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign currently has no active Facebook ads, the morning after another disappointing finish in a series of primary contests.

Why it matters: A pause in digital advertising spend on Facebook has been a good indicator that candidates are dropping out of the 2020 race before. Pete Buttigieg and Michael Bloomberg made their Facebook ads inactive hours before they suspended their campaigns.

The state of play: Sanders and his wife Jane are traveling back to Vermont today to “assess the path forward for our campaign," per a note from his campaign manager Faiz Shakir.

Shakir wrote that "last night did not go the way we wanted," after they lost all three states that voted: Arizona, Illinois and Florida.
