I'll bet the Sanders camp wishes they'd done things differently... like sitting instead of standing. Or possibly, not having the debate at all.

Sanders clearly doesn't do very well when there's no studio audience of supports to react with "whoop-whoops" to the obvious well-worn applause lines from his memorized stump speeches.

7. He'll still lean and slouch regardless... sitting wouldn't help and may have made it appear worse.

He'll still lean and slouch regardless... sitting wouldn't help and may have made it appear worse. It's not his fault that he has osteoporosis and he can't help to lean and have that hunched-up look. But, sadly for him, it does provide a constant visual reminder of his age and in comparison to Biden's upright posture and well-fitted suits, Bernie's situation just gives the impression of someone who's tired and not in good health. He's not doing it on purpose, but that's what people see. There are many articles online about posture and health, and how poor posture is a sign of poor health and how it can lead to other problems as well.

Don't believe me, just do a google search for "posture and health" and look for articles from reputable sources... avoid the ones trying to sell supplements, but stick with the gov't sites, edu sites, webmd and the like. Posture and aging, and posture and pain are also interesting search criteria.

15. The Sanders campaign leaked that Biden wanted a sit down style in negotiations

Thinking Joe wanting to sit down would send a message that he is not up to standing. Biden's posture is commanding and presidential though. Lol. They really set the bar low for Joe and are paying the price for that.

16. I knew it would backfire on them. Sitting and leaning on one's elbows isn't...

I knew it would backfire on them. Sitting and leaning on one's elbows isn't something that projects strength, vitality and good health. And being stooped over and leaning or slouching at the podium also isn't something that projects stamina.

Actually, I guess slouching isn't the best word to use because Bernie's poor posture is clearly osteoporosis... it's just a fact of life and other than wearing an uncomfortable back brace, there's really not much he can do about it. But still, it cannot be denied that poor posture (for whatever reason) always conveys a visual message that makes people see a person who's not in good health or frail and weak.

But, sadly for him, in comparison to Biden's upright posture and well-fitted suits, Bernie's situation just gives the impression of someone who's tired and not in good health. And on the "world stage" when standing next to other world leaders (both friend and foe) we need someone like Joe Biden to give the impression and send the message that the United States is strong and vital and coming back from our long nightmare.

There are many articles online about posture and health, and how poor posture is a sign of poor health and how it can lead to other problems as well. If anyone doubts me, just do a google search for "posture and health" and look for articles from reputable sources... avoid the ones trying to sell supplements, but stick with the gov't sites, edu sites, webmd and the like. Posture and aging, and posture and pain are also interesting search criteria.

The rumors were a last gasp campaign strategy from the Sanders' group, something I found personally offensive. But that's done now. Biden's performance was strong, clear and calm last night. If anything, Bernie Sanders made Joe Biden look more presidential than ever.

Almost every time someone went negative in this election cycle, they lost ground. People are fed up with the negative bullshit, we gert enough out of it from 45, we don't need (and most do not want) the Democratic alternative to be like that
