Monmouth Poll: Biden Edges Trump In Arizona

A new Monmouth poll in Arizona finds Joe Biden leading President Trump in a general election match up, 46% to 43%.

Said pollster Patrick Murray: “Impressions of the Democratic nominee will shift once the general election campaign gets under way, but Biden would start off by putting Arizona within reach.”

In the hotly contested U.S. Senate race, Mark Kelly (D) beats Sen. Martha McSally (R), 50% to 44%.

Sanders and Trump are tied.

Clinton was up +10 in Arizona around this time.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

There was only one AZ poll by this time in 2016, and it was exactly tied. Clinton was never up 10 points.

I live in Arizona, and Monmouth called me a few days ago. A nice woman called me and asked me about Biden and Sanders, Biden and Trump, etc. Of course, I gave a thumbs up for Biden and thumbs up for Mark Kelly. People like me are helping to put Arizona within reach! Woohoo!
