(28,833 posts)The primary may be over, but this is an opportunity to show everyone that any Democrat (let's ignore the (I) for the moment) in any position in government is better equipped to handle a crisis of this nature than any Republican. This transcends politics and perhaps voters will understand that having Democrats in charge in times of crises is always preferable than the alternative.

(42,862 posts)He's treating this as if it's some "official response" and rebuttal moment... as the opposition party does after the State of the Union speech.

(28,833 posts)It would be an excellent opportunity to contrast Ds (ignore the (I) for the moment) with Trump.
You know, a unified front. If Sanders takes the opportunity. Wishful thinking?

(13,792 posts)My brother is taking me so I don't have to lift all the heavy bags.
I haven't been since December .
I usually go every 2 months.
It has been 3 months, so I need quite a lot.
I hope they aren't out of everything.
How were the shelves at your supermarket ???

(28,833 posts)It should remind voters that crises like this transcend politics and that the country would be better off if Democrats were in charge in these times.
Unless, of course, he uses it as another opportunity to hack at Biden.

(10,333 posts)Both Dem presidential candidates attack the problem in a presidential, professional manner. I can't see how this could be harmful to the Democratic cause.

(59 posts)I do not like Senator Sanders and I am not going to vote for him, but the Orange Pustule's bloviating last night was horrific. It's good to see the Democratic challengers presenting themselves to the American public.

If one is standing upside-down, yes... most certainly. Standing up though, he's simply walking in Biden's footprints.

(14,320 posts)or even getting close. Unemployment at 100% up to $60K/year, moratorium on evictions and foreclosures, stopping utility shut-offs? I can get behind, but I don't know that even a majority of Democrats would vote for it.

(Not the jerks... wanna call them out, fine) It doesnt help. (I realize this will fall on deaf ears for some, but ill try anyway)
