(7,638 posts)Did quite well. I sent a tweet to the orange anus that if he wanted to start packing his bags, President Joe Biden could be moved in by this evening.

(1,730 posts)"This is a national disgrace."
He had rational critiques and suggestions. He was concerned about how people being laid off will survive financially. He said "I will always tell you the truth."
None of those came from Trump's lips.

(166 posts)It was Obama-esque. Not the campaign rhetoric, but in the confidence and forceful way he addressed the issue. I was an Obama guy in 2008 (after Biden dropped out), but I admit there was a nervous feeling I had about how a guy without experience would face crisis. He proved my worries wrong real quick. I always had confidence that he would confront the issue from a position of strength.
Bidens speech today reminded me of that, though I should say I never had any doubt about his ability as he has always been a first rate speaker when delivering prepared remarks.
Compare that to the national embarrassment of a presidential address that we witnessed last night.
