Briahna Joy Gray asking people to steal from their workplaces ...

… And here's one of the reasons why so many companies rarely let people work at home. Here's one of Bernie's top surrogates, Briahna Joy Gray, telling people who are working for home that they should be making calls for Bernie instead of actually working.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

RandySF … they don't see stealing payroll hours as stealing. As long as hurts the Man.

What's disgusting about this, and one of the reasons I could never get behind Bernie as a candidate, is that his policies are so geared towards the large corporations but he has absolutely no regard for the impact this would have on small businesses like mine. In the end, small businesses wouldn't be able to weather some of his non-nuanced policies and the only businesses that would survive under Bernie are large corporations.

If you're working from home, you should be making calls for Bernie? Would she ask people to do this if they were still in the office? This is absolutely encouraging people to make calls for Bernie instead of doing their work.

Crap like this is why I almost never let people work at home and I have 30 employees. The day I pay people to make calls for Bernie will be never.

I worked from home as a trouble shooter for medical software. I lived in KY and the company was in CA. I closed more tickets than anyone else in my dept. I was also the 'go to' guy when anyone else was stumped.

But yeah, there are folks who cheat their employer. Its up to the employer to figure out which ones are diamonds and which ones are stones.

working from home risk losing it for all workers who work at home.

It takes discipline and a ingrained work ethic to pace one self, to work at home. Don't abuse it. This is from an old IT guy who had numerous people working from home (makes sense in an IT environment). The business I was at ended telecommuting because so many people were abusing it (not actually working).

The verdict is still out on whether working at home vs. work is workable, long term. We still did it (work at home) when the weather was nasty, but did not do any more it because of the abusers. Some places that I have heard of that still employed telecommuting actually resorted to counting key strokes etc. to monitor productivity, not a good measure of work.
