"We're gonna keep fighting, and we're gonna win Illinois and Ohio next Tuesday!"

Flash forward to next Tuesday, with Biden winning Illinois and Ohio by 20 points.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

There are many other voters who haven't made their voices heard. We will be limiting campaign activities because of the coronavirus outbreak, but we will continue to bring our message to the people. We will continue to take on the establishment democrats and establishment republicans and the establishment media. We will fight to the convention"

BS is capable of reading the numbers and understanding he is doing more poorly than he did during the last primary in many places. His revolution never really took off as he hoped.

Add to that the fact that he is four years older and suffered a heart attack since the last primary fight. COVID-19 means an additional and likely insurmountable hurdle for him. He must realize that rallies not only increase his own risk but put his supporters at risk as well. He needs rallies to increase visibility, funding, and fight.

I hope he will drop out.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/11/politics/bernie-sanders-campaign/index.html

Burlington, Vermont (CNN) — A defiant Sen. Bernie Sanders vowed to stay in the presidential race on Wednesday after a series of major defeats, pointing to his appeal with younger voters and previewing the lines of argument he'll use against rival Joe Biden at this weekend's upcoming CNN-Univision debate.

"Last night obviously was not a good night for our campaign from a delegate point of view," Sanders said, noting his losses in the Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi and Idaho primaries. But he then pointed to his victory in North Dakota and reminded viewers of his lead in Washington state.

After acknowledging the unfavorable delegate math, Sanders dug deeper into the numbers and warned that Biden's failure so far to win over young voters could be damaging in November and beyond.
