How many of you are feeling much more hopeful than you have in a long time?

What a different landscape than two weeks ago. I am actually starting to get excited about Biden rather than just picking him because I think he is most likely to beat he-who-shall-not-be-named.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

That reference point matters. That reference point impacts preference in November.

Otherwise I'm not kidding myself that anything fundamental has changed in the past 2 weeks. Happy Adjusters always play that game of overreacting to recency, and therefore making absurd projections.

We avoided a socialist and inevitable defeat plus downballot disaster. I am immensely relieved about that.

We also got a jolt of reality toward preference in relation to turnout. I was pleased to play a role in laughing at the turnout clan around here. I've wagered on this stuff successfully for 28 years yet I'm supposed to surrender to a simpleton like Rachel Bitecofer and her new reality. Let me know when that happens. I'll be beyond senile. My friends in Las Vegas would be considerably more harsh toward her than I have been.

I never felt that Biden was down and out. I always knew that he would have better showings in more diverse states and besides, those polls showing Bernie ascending never smelled right to me. I also feel that Sanders did fatal damage to his campaign when, 2 weeks ago, he complimented Castro and his education policies. Even if it's true, no one with any sense of political instincts would say that out loud at this point in a primary!

If you are talking about the election, maybe, but it could go either way since we don't really know what will happen with this virus. I'm very worried about the future and that information is being withheld from us. I work with the elderly. I don't know what their lives are going to look like, or as a professional who cares for them, what mine and my family's life is going to look like. I am in a higher risk group so there is a lot to think about. And how will this virus affect the election turn out? So much overwhelm.
