Related: About this forumTHC Phobia
It's alive and well in this country but people are waking up I hope.
So much focus on CBD that articles are written as if THC is to be avoided.
Fact is THC helps adults as well as children and we need to get over this phobia. Lives are at stake.
I recently read an article about children and THC but lost the link. Anyone have an article to share in this subject?

(14,216 posts)A few days ago I followed a link to a FOX story where they stated (accurately) that the THC content of cannabis was much higher than it had been in the 60s. Then of course they had to veer off into bullshit by saying that was because plants were now sprayed with psychoactive chemicals to increase their potency. I quit watching when a FOX jackass said that smoking weed now was like "Putting Drano on your cereal."

(28,136 posts)...to the vast majority of TV, radio, and print articles regarding medical cannabis.
They seem to be fixated with CBD's with zero understanding of all the other beneficial cannabinoids. THC especially gets bad press whenever they talk of CBD. In CBD reports they are quick to point out that it doesn't have the "psychoactive" or "hallucinatory" bad affects like THC while completely ignoring THC's value as medicine.
And to your FOX report...yeah...that's an old and tired war on weed technique. Fear, fear, and more fear.
If people thought for one second they might realize that more potent THC levels means less smoke or vape is needed thus it's potentially healthier. Idiots.

(51,907 posts)Medical users are interested in addition to CBDs, but also CBNs, gamma cannabinoids, CBC,s etc. This doesn't mean they don't care about THC, but it would really be great if WA State mandated listing some of the other components besides THC and CBD.
