It was not the theoretical opposition from growers that killed the legalization vote last time.

(3,569 posts)No money to pay to have the porposition put on the ballot. Someone is going to have to drop a million or more to even get the signatures required to put it on the ballot.
This is ridiculous BTW. No one who is not a pot smoker will vote for this, NOT ONE PERSON. (okay, might be a bit hyperbolic but) and you will need to court those people to insure passage....(and a driving while high provision is one of the giveaways)
Anyone can grow up to 100 square feet? NO WAY THAT FLIES. People, voters, will see this as pot plants everywhere, apartments, in the backyards of gated communities etc.....
The driving part alone, without a DWI provision will not fly.
Also too many competing measures all fraught with the same issues..
