Keith Richards' idea of a well-rounded breakfast is marijuana, the legendary Rolling Stones' guitarist says in Mojo magazine's September issue.

"I smoke regularly, an early morning joint," Richards told Mojo, according to the Independent. "Strictly Californian."

Richards, 71, is well-known for his drug use, even though he argues his really wild days are behind him.

Richards stopped using heroin in 1978 after being arrested for possession of the narcotic. He gave up cocaine after falling out of a tree in 2006.

The Independent reports that he once quoted Winston Churchill about his prolific drug use.

"It's like Churchill said about alcohol: 'Believe me, I've taken a lot more out of alcohol than it's ever taken out of me!'" said Richards.

Sativa gets your motor running, while indica (my favorite) puts you to sleep.

Goes to show that reactions can be pretty individual. I like Sativa highs fine, but I just don't have time to get stoned during the day. What some experience as energizing, I find distracting.

10. I worked with a guy back in the 80's that would be "off" at work until he had his pipe

hit. While (my experience ended then) in my experience that seemed to defy conventional logic. Yet his body chemistry was such that it worked for him. He was a big mountain man of dude. Grew his own in the woods.
