Thanks to the science behind production of marvelous concentrates, patients and recreational users have instant passport to the far edge of the stratosphere, safely and economically accessible.

Personally, I’m not into dab rigs or volcanoes. I’m typically a sipper - not a ripper. Both can be fun, but it gets kinda weird in the outer reaches of the ionosphere. I attended a cannafest where folks were filling special bags with vapor from a volcano. I took a hit that was worthy of Superman - the George Reeves TV version. I remember him hoovering-up a toxic cloud of something, then played the recording in reverse. Anyway…where was I…yeah…took that hit and I was done for awhile. It was quite the test of lung capacity.

I use live resin 510 carts mostly. They can be extremely smooth, but the terpenes can be a bit much, especially when trying to stay inconspicuous.

Like wine tasting parties. The terps is what it’s all about. Taking in a small amount of smoke letting it linger in the back of your throat to get the taste of the bud. Much fun!

It’s kinda hit-or-miss when it comes to distillates, where generic terpenes are added at the end of the run, seemingly as an afterthought. I admit a certain fondness for the one that tastes the way lavender smells, however, which is typically added to a product given a ‘kush’ or ‘afghan’ name. I do appreciate live resin cartridges where the natural terpenes are extracted and remain with the end product.

I also dig smoking the herb, but it’s not legal in my state. Dry herb can only be vaped - not smoked. I tried vaping dry herb, but it makes hella mess with tar and resin. It’s hardly discreet when done away from home either. It’s a stupid law IMO and would go away if we had laws authorizing recreational use.

My favorite way to smoke is with a bong - one tiny pinch at a time that is consumed in a single draw. I do savor these hits, as I always have, corrupt politicians be damned.
