Its an Acapulco Gold landrace. Very lightly LSTed, feminized photoperiod. Seed was an exchange with my neighbor. Maybe Ill try to grab some clones, havent done that in at least 10 years. Havent grown outside in probably twice that.
Any tips on cloning let me know. I do have some clone gel.

(7,972 posts)You dont just use it on the distal end but all points where the lower leaves were removed.
Dont over saturate the soil, it should be wet but not too wet.
I usually take off at least 3 or 4 lower leaves.

(92,335 posts)Will you use the large leaf too?
Yes, I will! In a few different ways. My neighbor, the seed man, makes hash. I make a full spectrum THCA /CBDA tincture. Then after sampling some previous grows we are thinking of rolling cigars. Cured buds with a light grind rolled in the green leaf before it can dry then let that cure for a couple weeks. Maybe theyll be more like cigarillos.
Always up for fun and experimenting!

(10,681 posts)In the meantime I remembered that weeping willow branch tips or cottonwood young branch soaked in water for a while will give you a good root enhancer. Dont know if its a growth stimulant though.

(10,681 posts)Started with the Canadian fire smoke at the upper altitudes. Then just about the time the Tigers game was finishing up the odor was getting noticeably worse, it smelled like someone was seal coating. The smoke started coming in except it was low looking like morning haze. There were a couple small fires locally but most of the stuff came from Grayling.
The summer people are coming up in hoards the last couple weekends, its that time. Of course its rake, pile up, burn the winter kill happens every year
but this year is so dry. We havent had any rain for at least two weeks.
Thankfully we have a great well. Thanks for thinking of us.

(33,957 posts)Looke pretty smoky here last night. Saw the Tribal water tanker go by with a fire engine. Went out and it smelled like a camp fire.
We were thing what to grab if the 1,000+ acres next door catches fire.
