Caitlin Clark Leaves ROTY Rival Angel Reese on High Alert as Fever Star Proves to Be a Level Apart Ahead of WNBA Return

With the WNBA rebooting this week, we have returned to the one question that has been looming in everyone’s minds. Who will be the Rookie of the Year? Surely, the entire 2024 WNBA draft class was nothing short of the greatest one ever. Still, the Iowa sensation Caitlin Clark had set herself apart from the very beginning. One player who was not overshadowed, though, is Angel Reese. Nevertheless, seems like the first overall pick has no trouble staying ahead, even Dawn Staley agrees with her prowess.

The official X account of the Indiana Fever gave the verdict on their end today with their latest tweet.“It’s no contest. every stat that Caitlin Clark leads @WNBA rookies in 📊,” they wrote as the accompanying image showed Caitlin Clark leading every stat except the rebounds and the blocks.

Going into the second half of the 28th WNBA season, the Des Moines native will be leading the rookies with 17.1 ppg. So far, she has made 138 field goals and 71 three-pointers. She is also doing incredibly well from the strip with an 89.1 free throw percentage.

Apart from these, she is also leading the 2024 rookie class in assists with 8.2 deliveries per game and 1.5 steals per game. Additionally, her assists average is also the highest in the league currently. She left Alyssa Thomas of the Connecticut Sun behind with her record-shattering 19-assist game against the Dallas Wings.

It would be a shame to turn this into some kind of political thing. Or worse yet, some kind of racial thing. They are both really good. Is that so difficult to accept on face value?

that the ball players (and about 98% of the real fans) have made it real clear that they're not playing these sh*tty games. Just not interested, thanks!
