I thought Cumberland Gap was still a Kentucky State Park. Happy to see it has been elevated to National Historical Park.

I grew up about 3 miles from the caves on the Ky side. Above the caves is a place called the pinnacle

The road to the pinnacle starts in KY. The pinnacle itself is in VA and it overlooks TN to the left & KY to the right with Fernlake in the distance.

I could not have had a better place to grow up. many fond memories.
