Watching the night of Paul Newman .. the movie now is, Pocket Money . 50% Tomatoes ..Audience 31% tomatoes. And they are right, in this flick?? Paul Newman does not look right in a cowboy hat.

(438 posts)There's not many movies which have been made which are better than Hud. Larry McMurtry wrote the novel. Martin Ritt directed it. Fantastic script; fantastic acting by everyone in the move; fantastic direction; outstanding dialogue; good music score; and, jaw dropping cinematography. What a cast! You can watch that movie 10 or more times and still be amazed by it and the nuances in it. I think that it is Newman's best acting role.
