netgrace.org is an online resource

Of legal and psychological professionals that deal with child abuse, sexual abuse, etc with Christian, even evangelical churches. They provide instruction to churches on how to handle abuse so the victim isn't re-victimized and to protect others from the abuser.

Some of the blog articles are very interesting, covering issues like "calling yourself pro-life when you delight in the torture of others, etc."

Another article discussed the five things abusers say in a public confession that manipulate the congregation, push "group-think," and re-victimize.

I heard about this site when the creator of the organization talked about sexual abuse within evangelical churches. He said he estimates it is as pervasive in evangelical homes as the sex abuse in the Catholic church.
