and not the individual posts...

The reply recommendation function is very barebones at the moment -- right now the way it works is that if a reply gets five or more recommendations, it gets highlighted in the reply tree if you have the "Recommended" button selected at the top of the reply tree. But that's all it does right now.
We will be building additional functionality for this feature going forward -- that will be part of the next phase, after we've gotten things stable with the new software.
